Reno`s East Sports Bar in East Lansing

This restaurant now serves the vegan Impossible Burger and they cooked it so wonderfully. This was easily one of the best vegan burgers I’ve ever had and i still think about it. Highly recommend for other vegetarians or vegans or people who just want to have an amazing healthy burger that tastes like a regular burger!!

Great place to meet family and friends. They have plenty of room for visiting and good selection of food and beer. Our waitress is as always great at her job. Heather is able to handle plenty of people and keep everything straight. She is very much appreciated.

Best place to come for the Tom Izzo Show and great food

First time here the burgers where great! The staff was super friendly and i enjoyed my meal. The place is very clean and also a great place to catch a sport game. Big menu for food and drink!

We love the food but the service is disappointing every time. I waited almost 30 minutes to pay my bill yesterday and it wasn't even with my own waitress. Kids love the popcorn, pizza, and chicken tenders. Menu has large variety and many beers on tap. Just need better service!

We LOVE Renos, regardless if we go to East, North or West they are all amazing. The food is always on point and the cocktail selection is HUGE! Always a good time regardless if it is a committee meeting, staff meeting, lunch with a clients, week night out with the fam or weekend brunch and bloody Mary’s with friends.

Love the Impossible burger!! As a lifelong red meat LOVER, there is no discernable difference. I will eat at Reno's far more often for that reason alone. The rating is in higher only because we find that the service is inconsistent from visit to visit. Also because there is rarely a host or any sign indicating whether or not you should seat yourself.

Great bar to go to before a tailgate. Good food and the service is excellent. All the wait staff is super friendly. Free popcorn and good place to cater a party as well. Plenty of seating. Bathrooms here are very clean and the bathrooms have been remodeled. Not a bad place to play pool and other games inckuding pool.

Service is terrible and prices are ridiculous. Don't waste your time and money.

Big place. 3 bars, and not very crowded. Darts, pool, foosball. Nice place to watch a game.

Good selection of local craft brews and plenty of room for a small impromptu gathering. If you need space for more than a half dozen or so, call ahead and they can usually accommodate you.

I think we may finally be done with Reno's. The #LansingFacts meme that says, "Reno's: Where it's always your server's second day," feels more and more accurate every time we go. After three requests, we finally got water tonight. The patio was full of unbussed, messy tables. And our dining companions' salmon looked like chicken. Nothing we need to experience again.

Came to Reno’s East with my friends (we are all 21-22) for dinner, expecting to have a drink and some food! Upon ordering drinks, I was told that my Michigan ID was fake and they would not serve me, but would serve my friends. They never asked for another form of ID, checked it with a black light, or anything. The manager just claimed it was “too bendy.” I offered for them to call the police to have them verify, which she refused to do. I felt it was handled poorly, and they had no way to test the ID, which was a legitimate Michigan ID. After they offered me a “flavored lemonade” we decided to leave. Not impressed with the fact that they told me my ID was fake and had no way to check themselves. Would’ve been nice to have a relaxed dinner, but was thoroughly disappointed in the management and bartenders lack of knowledge.

Great service fun crazy sports atmosphere

Great looking restaurant/bar! Updated bathrooms are clean and keep you engaged with the outside world (I'm talking TV's in the mirrors folks). Pool is $1.50 which is slightly above what I like to pay. They got a few other arcade games and steel tipped darts available. ATM inside! They host live music, events, and the Dantonio show so it gets real busy on choice nights. Food is on the modestly expensive side, but if you're going as a group they have plenty of shareables. Spanish, Italian, Greek, and American dishes and apps available. HUGE menu, bigger list of drinks on tap! With 3 bars it's hard not to get a drink . The biggest problem here is the standard crowd, generally rude and narrow minded individuals. Aside from that the asthetic and energy are positive enough. Give it a shot!

Great food and live music on weekends. Sitting on the patio gives you a vacation feel

I have gone to this place for a long time and had no issues reserving 2 chairs at a table for coaches radio shows. Well today I called(about a week before hand) to reserve 2 doors at a table for the Tom Izzo radio show for November 11th and the holiday show. The person on the phone told me its not guaranteed to get a spot at a table and put me on waiting list and cant get me a spot for holiday show. I asked her why and she told me that the people who made reservations the whole season last year get their tables again and that's their policy. Well to me that's not fair and they should be like it used to be like every person has to call 3 days before the show to reserve a spot. She asked if I wanted to sit in the other room. No why would I go tut o a radio show if i can't be in the same room away from it. Not happy by the way they let regular people have to be on a waitlist for a radio show.

Love this place. Great draft selection (50+). Easy in and out and close to campus. Like the wings a lot. Truffle parmesan fries are fantastic. Great service. Definitely worth your stop.

Great local watering hole. All ages. Great food. You won't be disappointed. Plus they host the Mark Dantonio Show.

Food isn’t bad. Service is horrible. They just opened back up, they close at 12 now, I show up at 11:27 and ask if I can place an order for food, and the waitress tells me ‘the kitchen closes at 11:30, sorry’. So you literally open your small business back up, after a couple months of COVID closure and turn down business. Renos you deserve to fail.

I mean, look. Nice atmosphere. Spacious. Most of the staff is pretty friendly. And they have a pretty good Caribbean Salmon Salad. A salad which, I might add, is best eaten with the appropriate dressing. What is far less appetizing is a Caribbean Salmon Caesar Salad. I now know this as fact.Something about salmon and mango tossed in Caesar dressing.. well, it just doesnt quite wet the palate, does it? Best you think twice before ordering to go. Or maybe just order a Caesar Salad if you do. They seem to be tossing that dressing on everything these days.

I've been here 2x in 2 years. Both times service was really bad. Last year waited 1.5 hours for a pizza they got wrong. Tonight waited 20 minutes for a warm beer. Food is good but service needs a lot of work.

Cozy atmosphere, nice people, and pretty good food

Initially, our group's orders were all messed up. Ashley came to the rescue and hit a grand slam! Food was awesome (as usual) and service was perfect after the initial hiccup. Highly recommend for group get togethers.

Terrible experience. I ordered a pizza and specified that I didn’t want certain toppings. They ended up on the pizza and I had it sent back. When they brought me a “new” pizza, they had literally picked off what they saw because the toppings were still between my slices. So I had to wait even longer. No portion of my bill taken off either. Staff were unprofessional. Very disappointed. Will not come back.

I've been coming here for a while and the service never really seems to impress me. However I can see that it stems from upper management. This can be easily fixed with a little guidance and a sense of appreciation for this great atmosphere and location. I get that if it's not broke, why fix it and I'm sure the money is right, but why not make Renos East fantastic. This place could thrive yet owners seems to be content with meritocracy. To each their own I guess... just unfortunate. Also, a deep clean could go a long way.. good luck this summer!PS. Fix the leak in the mens room please...its been like 3 years now

If I could leave no stars I would. We have been here over an hour and half of our party doesn't even have their drinks. We have been ignored by the staff the entire time we have been here. I had to go up to the bar to tell the wait staff that we still needed drinks and we were ready to order. I will not recommend this place ever and I will never come here again. We came in before 8 and it is now after 9.

Fantastic venue. The outdoor bar was well staffed and maintained. Beer was pricey.

This is mine and my husband's favorite spot to get a drink, watch games, and get a quick bite to eat. We have done several parties here. They are very accommodating and easy to work with! Great service. You may even run into Tom Izzo here!

I always enjoy visiting this renos! Really nice drink selection here. I love the indoor/outdoor patio space. Food here is usually really good. Sometimes leaning towards bar food but it hits the spot! They also have live music and trivia nights as well.

Neighborhood sports bar. It serves a good range of beers on tap. I like that they sponsor local sports teams!

Justine is the best server there!!!! Went in 1 time and she remembered my order when I came back. So now I go there weekly.

Felt sick after eatting there.

It said that they were open on Christmas. We went in and the place wasn't overly busy but we were told that they couldn't even give us a wait time because they were so behind already and didn't have the staff to manage the kitchen. One of a few restaurants to be open, but only if you want to spend hours waiting...

The hostess was very rude. She said that the football coach was doing his shoe. I had A handicapped permit. I was parking in and was told to move. My husband had surgery on his knee.. She came out and told us to move. We did. The service was very slow. I loved the food. The owner did cone over and apologize. I do not know if I will go there again.

Ask for Zoey as a server! She is the best! She's polite, fun, attentive, and is the fastest server there!

A little slow, but given that it was prime dinner time and we were looking for a leisurely dinner it wasn't an issue. The food is great (Olive Burger and the new Spicy Feta Wrap for my companion).
